As you can see from the virtual tour, we have two flights of stairs. Salty's Cottage is also situated on the historical Temperance Steps. They are both beautiful and plentiful! However, you'll find a handrail for the majority of the way, and the steps are reasonably manageable due to them being quite deep.
  • Is Salty's Cottage accessible via public transport?
We are very lucky to have very regular bus links, and also a ferry in the spring/summer. To get to Brixham via public transport, we recommend a train to Paignton, then catch the number 12 bus to Brixham. Salty's Cottage is just a 5 minute walk away from the bus station. However, please remember that the cottage is situated on the steps.
